We had a great time on our trip!
Autumn camp 2022 was a great success. We enjoyed our time in the beautiful Outdoor Resort Brezova, surrounded by nature, while engaging in fun activities and games.
Upon arrival, we toured the premises and had a safety discussion with our instructors who then divided our pupils into two groups. After being allocated into rooms, unpacking and making our beds, we seized the opportunity to enjoy the first afternoon activities.
Our mornings included an early rise, rich breakfast and time to get ready for the day. After that, we headed to our activities which included wall climbing, bungee trampoline, high ropes, paintball, archery and more! Most activities included collaboration and promoted team spirit. Everyone got the chance to try everything and even some of our teachers showed their amazing climbing skills. Many pupils received house points for their outstanding attitude throughout the trip and for maintaining a tidy and clean room, respecting their roommates and surroundings.
The evenings were busy with a night walk to the haunted village for our secondary and a disco with pizza for everyone. It was great fun to see our pupils enjoying some dancing in a spirit of togetherness which brought us all closer. It was particularly nice to see our pupils interacting and socialising with pupils from other schools.
During rest times, we enjoyed a great variety of meals, drinks and snacks as well as treats and souvenirs from the shop that is located in the camp premises.
Overall, this camp trip, like all others, provided great experiences while teaching us adaptability and responsibility in the most fun way possible. We hope that everyone enjoyed this adventure and we are looking forward to next year’s camp trip!
They will gain perfect knowledge of English.
Your child will become a global citizen with wide understanding of local and international topics.
We put a strong emphasis on the development on subject specific skills rather than on acquisition of knowledge.
Emphasis on skills development (not just memorising).
Individual approach; school’s ability to motivate for improvement.
Your child will be excited to come to school.
You are not buying success, you are paying for the school to monitor your child’s progress to their goals and motivate them to fulfil their potential.
We are not a selective school: we believe that everybody can be successful.
Jolly Phonics is an engaging way to teach children pre -reading and pre -writing skills using phonics. Phonics is the teaching of the sounds that letters make, rather than the names of letters that are taught in the alphabet, because it is the sounds that are useful for reading and writing, not the names. These sounds are taught in a systematic way, alongside all of the skills needed for being a fluent reader and writer in future. Jolly Phonics also teaches all of this in a fun and engaging way, through characters, stories, actions, songs and games! To read more about Jolly Phonics, clickhere.
